The summer is officially here and that means things are heating up here in Upstate Professional Wrestling. UPW presents "Red, White, & Bruised" at the Eagles Club in Rochester, New York Saturday July 9th. Here are the matches that have been announced thus far:

"The Rican Sensation" Maximo Suave (c) vs. UPW No Limits Champion "The Young Lion of the West" Mattick vs. "The Man That Father Time Forgot" Hellcat

"Charisma Personified" Chris Cayden vs. HC Loc (making his UPW return after a 12-year absence)

Doors open at 5:30 PM. Bell time at 6:00 PM. Tickets are $15 presale, $17 at the door and are available by going to the official UPW website (www.upstateprowrestling.com). This will be UPW's last show before Headlocks & Homeruns 5 so grab your ticket now and don't miss all the action.
And speaking of Headlocks & Homeruns 5, UPW's annual summer spectacular and biggest show of the year returns once again this time at the Premier Sports Center in Webster, New York Saturday, August 6th. Tickets are available now at the UPW website. Already announced for the show are the War Machine Rhino making his third Headlocks appearance and Steve Lombardi aka The Brooklyn Brawler making his UPW debut and first indy appearance. Well just recently added to this huge card is the one and only Dutch Mantel aka Zeb Colter. This long-time veteran of the ring wars will make his UPW debut. But what are his intentions and who could this "real American" be coming after? No one knows, but one thing is for sure. This living legend will look to make his mark and whoever he sets his sights on will be in for a long night. And THIS is only the beginning.
And if all that wasn't enough. we also have news regarding UPW's Upstate 8 in September. This one-night tournament will feature the top independent stars from both the United States and Canada. Representing Canada will be "All Ego" Ethan Page and "Hacker" Scotty O'Shea, making his UPW debut. Representing the USA will be "Supercop" Dick Justice and the recently added Jay Freddie, also making his UPW debut. Freddie is a world class wrestler and has wrestled in Japan and has even gone toe to toe with the recently retired Daniel Bryan. The final four names to round out this tournament will be added and announced in the weeks to come.
