In between all the madness from the biggest weekend in UFC history will be a loaded card from the Cage Warriors promotion. This card will be headlined by a pair of title bouts in both the middleweight and lightweight divisions. Also, Paddy Pimblett returns and several other top MMA prospects will be in action as well.
Main Event
CWFC Middleweight Title Decision Fight
Christopher “T-Choke” Jacquelin (8-2-0) vs. Jack “Hammer” Marshman (19-5-0)
Jacquelin will be making his CWFC debut in this fight and he does so while on a two fight winning streak. Marshman has won three of four fights under the CWFC banner, most notably defeating Che Mills at CWFC 72. Jacquelin has not gone to a decision in nearly four years and only one of his fights as a pro went to a decision. Marshman fought a total of four UFC veterans during his professional MMA career, but he only defeated one of those UFC veterans. Jacquelin will want to get the fight to the ground, Marshamn has an agonizing striking game and he finishes Jacquelin with strikes in the second.
Co-Main Event
CWFC Lightweight Title Decision Fight
Chris Fishgold (13-1-1) vs. Adam Boussif (9-3-0)
Fishgold is currently undefeated in CWFC competition, with a total of four wins coming in the promotion. Boussif will be returning to CWFC for the first time in three years and he is currently winless in the promotion. Fishgold will enter the fight riding a three fight winning streak, with all three wins being first round finishes. Boussif has been a professional MMA fighter for nearly four years and none of those fights have gone to a decision. These are two fighters who are excellent at the ground game, but it will be Fishgold getting the better of the ground game to get a close decision win.
CWFC Featherweight Division Fight
Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett (10-1-0) vs. Teddy Violet (10-2-0)
Pimblett will enter the fight riding a six fight winning streak and he has not suffered a defeat in almost three years. Violet will be making his CWFC debut in this fight and he recently competed against UFC veteran Michihiro Omigawa. Violet has a lot of talent, but Pimblett may be the biggest star in CWFC, Pimblett submits Violet in the first round.
CWFC Light Heavyweight Division Fight
Boubacar “Blackout” Balde (11-8-0) vs. Darren “The Dentist” Stewart (6-0-0)
Balde will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak and he will be returning to CWFC for the first time in two years. Stewart has already fought twice under the CWFC banner and four of his six wins have been first round finishes. Stewart has been running through people with his striking game and he does the same to Balde as he finishes him with strikes in the first.
CWFC Lightweight Division Fight
Scott Clist (8-2-0) vs. Tim “The Experiment” Wilde (8-1-0)
Clist is currently undefeated in CWFC competition, having defeated Brad Wheeler by TKO at CWFC 75. Wilde will be returning to CWFC for the first time in three years and he enters the fight riding a three fight winning streak. These are two quality lightweight fighters, but Clist is better at mixing it up when compared to Wilde and he finishes him with strikes in the first round.
CWFC Lightweight Division Fight
Tom “K9” Green (10-1-0) vs. Brad “The Crazy Kid” Wheeler (15-10-0)
Green will be making his CWFC debut in this fight and he will be making his promotional debut on a nine fight winning streak. Wheeler is currently winless in his third CWFC run, dropping a bout to Scott Clist at CWFC 75. Wheeler’s best shot at winning is to get the fight to the ground, but Green has an amazing ground game and striking game, he finishes Wheeler with strikes in the first.
