A heavyweight division attraction that will be pitting Cheick Kongo across the cage from Tony Johnson. Kongo will enter the fight riding a two fight winning streak, which includes a win over former Bellator MMA Heavyweight Champion Alexander Volkov. Johnson is currently undefeated in Bellator MMA competition, he holds a win over Alexander Volkov as well. Bellator 161 takes place on September 16th from a location TBA in Austin, Texas with the aforementioned fighters headlining.
