RESURRECTION FIGHTING ALLIANCE 41 PREVIEW & PREDICTIONS

Capping off a busy Friday Night of MMA action will be a loaded card from the Resurrection Fighting Alliance. Resurrection Fighting Alliance 41 will be headlined by a middleweight division fight as Josh Clark takes on Trevin Giles. Also, Jamall Emmers takes on Rivaldo Junior and eight other top MMA prospects will be stepping into the cage.

Main Card

Main Event

RFA Middleweight Division Fight

Josh “The Hillbilly Heartthrob” Clark (9-2-0) vs. Trevin Giles (6-0-0)

Clark will be making his RFA debut in this fight and he will be doing so on the strength of a four fight winning streak. Giles will also be making his RFA debut in this fight and none of his six fights as a pro went to the judge’s scorecards. Clark will also be returning to action after a year-plus absence, but he is a veteran of the Bluegrass Brawl promotion. Giles is also a veteran of the Legacy Fighting Championships, which is where he earned three of his career victories at. Clark has a great striking prowess when he enters the cage, but Giles can strike and get the fight to the ground, which is where Giles earns his decision win.

Co-Main Event

RFA Featherweight Division Fight

Jamall “Prettyboy” Emmers (9-3-0) vs. Rivaldo Junior (15-5-2)

Emmers is currently winless in RFA competition, having dropped a lightweight title fight to Thiago Moises at RFA 38. Junior will be making his RFA debut in this fight and he has only won just two of his last six entering the fight. Emmers will be returning to action after a year-plus absence, but he is also a veteran of the Tachi Palace Fights. Junior will be returning after a two-plus year absence and he has not earned a victory in nearly three years. Junior may have been gone from competition for a long time now, but his ground game is amazing and he grounds Emmers on route to a decision win.

RFA Lightweight Division Fight

Chris “The Enigma” Pecero (14-6-0) vs. Alex Hernandez (6-1-0)

Pecero will be making his RFA debut in this fight, but he has previously competed in the Legacy Fighting Championships. Hernandez will also be making his RFA debut in this fight and he will be doing so on a six fight winning streak. Pecero is a well versed fighter who is superior to Hernandez wherever the fight winds up, Pecero gets a second round TKO finish.

RFA Welterweight Division Fight

Christopher Ray Lopez (4-1-0) vs. Fabio Trindade (5-3-0)

Lopez will be making his RFA debut in this fight and he is a three fight veteran of the Legacy Fighting Championships. Trindade will also be making his RFA debut in this fight and none of his professional MMA fights went past the second round. Lopez has a decent striking game, but Trindade has an amazing submission game and he gets the first round submission.

RFA Lightweight Division Fight

Hugo Prada (6-0-0) vs. Gleidson Moraes “Poney” Cutis (4-2-0)

Prada will be making his RFA debut in this fight and only one of his six fights have gone to the judge’s scorecards. Cutis will also be making his RFA debut in this fight and he will be returning to action after being away for nearly a year. Cutis is a fighter known for taking fights the distance, but Prada has a good striking game and he catches Cutis late for a third round TKO.

RFA Catchweight Division Fight

Carlos Vergara (3-1-0) vs. Jose Soto (3-1-0)

Vergara will be making his RFA debut in this fight, but he has competed one time in the Legacy Fighting Championships. Soto will also be making his RFA debut in this fight, having spent his entire career unto this point in the Xtreme Knockout promotion. These are two fighters who are known for taking fights to a decision, it will be Soto getting the decision win here.
