By David Tees on 7/29/2016 12:45 PM

The last event of a huge four event MMA weekend will be a loaded card that is called the World Series Of Fighting 32. The event will be headlined by a pair of title fight rematches as bantamweight champion Marlon Moraes defends the gold against Josh Hill and Alexandre Almeida defends the featherweight belt against Lance Palmer. Also, brothers collide when Ben Fodor takes on Caros Fodor and Phil Hawes returns for a short notice fight.

Main Card

Main Event

WSOF Bantamweight Title Fight

Marlon Moraes (16-4-1) (Champion) vs. “Gentleman” Josh Hill (14-1-0)

Moraes will be making the fifth defense of his championship, last defending it against Joseph Barajas at the WSOF 28. Hill has been undefeated since the first loss to Moraes at the WSOF 18, with a notable win coming over former bantamweight title challenger Josh Rettinghouse. Moraes has not suffered a defeat in almost five full years, he holds a notable victory over former WEC Bantamweight Champion Miguel Torres during that run. Hill has held gold before in his career, as he is a former Aggression MMA Bantamweight Champion. Moraes is the greatest bantamweight fighter to not step foot in the UFC, Moraes destroys Hill with leg kicks before finishing him with strikes late in the first round.

Co-Main Event

WSOF Featherweight Title Fight

Alexandre “Capitao” Almeida (18-5-0) (Champion) vs. Lance “The Party” Palmer (10-2-0)

Almeida will be making the first defense of his championship, which he won by defeating Lance Palmer at the WSOF 26. Palmer did defend his title once before losing it, having defeated Chris Horodecki at the WSOF 21. Almeida is known as a finisher throughout his career, with fifteen of his twenty three fights ending in the first round. Palmer will be fighting for the sixth time in the WSOF, with four of those fights being for the featherweight championship. Almeida squeaked by Palmer the first time using his striking to keep Palmer at range, but Palmer makes the correct adjustment to submit Almeida in the second round to regain the belt.

WSOF Catchweight Division Fight

Ben “Phoenix Jones” Fodor (6-1-1) vs. Caros “The Future” Fodor (10-5-0)

Ben will be looking to build on the momentum of his first WSOF victory, with that win coming over Roberto Young at the WSOF 23. Caros is currently winless under the WSOF banner, having dropped a fight to Luiz Firmino at the WSOF 27. This is the biggest sibling MMA fight of all time, at least on a national scale, but it will be Caros getting the first round TKO here.

WSOF Middleweight Division Fight

Phil Hawes (4-0-0) vs. Louis “Put The Guns Down” Taylor (12-3-0)

Hawes is coming into this fight as a late replacement, but he did make a successful promotional debut by defeating Joshua Key at the WSOF 31. Taylor is also undefeated thus far in WSOF competition, having defeated Cory Devela at the WSOF 29. Hawes has a great wrestling and ground game, he grounds Taylor to grind out a decision victory.
