A pair of championship bouts as interim flyweight champion Jennifer Maia defends the gold against Roxanne Modaferri and atomweight champion Ayaka Hamasaki defends against Jinh Yu Frey. Maia will be making the first defense of her championship, which she won by defeating Vanessa Porto at Invicta FC 16. Modaferri is a UFC veteran who has won four of five fights in Invicta FC, most notably defeating Tara LaRosa at Invicta FC VIII.
Hamasaki will be making the second defense of her championship, last defending it against Amber Brown at Invicta FC 16. Frey will enter the fight riding a three fight winning streak and she has not suffered a defeat in nearly two years. Invicta FC 19 takes place on September 23rd from the Kansas City Scottish Rite Temple in Kansas City, Missouri with Jennifer Maia and Roxanne Modaferri headlining.
