Last night, Conquer Pro Wrestling hosted their second play / wrestling event. The current Leading Ladies Champion and TNA Knockout Raquel won the title in June defeating former Knockout Thea Trinidad to become the first champion. Last night, she picked up an unexpected win over former SHINE, Stardom & NWA World Women's Champion Santana Garrett.
It looked like Santana had Raquel put away after a super kick. She turned her attention to the referee from what she thought was a slow count. When Santana came back to grab Raquel, the current Knockout hooked her in tight with a small package to get the 3-count. Santana was not happy!
This was their 4th singles match and Raquel just evened out the record putting them at 2-2. On September 3, they'll be competing on the same team for the I Believe in Wrestling event at the Team Vision Dojo. However, on September 16, Championship Wrestling Entertainment will be having an event at the Team Vision Dojo where Santana will be putting up the CWE Xiven's title against Raquel, who earned the shot defeating Santana in the finals of the Rise of a Queen tournament.
Santana Garrett has recently appeared again on WWE NXT and has been traveling the world, and Raquel has been making huge waves since her WWE Tough Enough experience. These are two ladies wrestling fans are going to want to continue to keep their eyes on.
