HUGE Tag Match set for Saturday June 17
It’s slowly turning hot outside as summer approaches… and the action in ECWA is following suit!Saturday June 17 it’s time for one of the biggest shows of the year in ‘Raising the Bar’! Some of the biggest matches in ECWA history have taken place over the years at this event! And of course, this year is NO DIFFERENT!
ECWA Heavyweight Champion Azrieal is having one of the most chaotic title reigns in the companies history, and his reign is only 2 months old! First, he finally defeats Sean Carr to win the title. Then Chris Wylde takes offense Az even got the chance in the first place to fight for ‘Big Red’. So Azrieal had to fend him off last month in a highly contested battle… meanwhile, Carr won the Super 8 tournament in April, which is a MONUMENTAL accomplishment, but he decided to pick a fight with fellow participant Joe Gacy during his victory speech. Still with me? So Azrieal already has Wylde to deal with… Carr is having a grudge with Gacy BUT still wants his rematch for the Heavyweight Championship.
Just last month at Spring Scramble, Az was at the end of his first championship defense against Chris Wylde when Sean Carr rushed the ring and immediately assaulted Az. Wylde of course joined the fray and all 3 men battled each other! Joe Gacy also would enter the arena and the war was on! Security struggled to follow the action… officials couldn’t keep order… and the entire locker room emptied to break up the brawl. Even then it would several minutes of chaos before order was restored! It was an incredibly confusing situation for all involved and quite the mess for ECWA officials to sort out.
Azrieal feels he is being screwed over by ECWA officials. He thinks his reign is being sabotaged! Chris Wylde feels he should have been the chosen one to defeat Carr and wants the championship badly to prove his point. Sean Carr is ready to once again regain his throne and prove he’s the best ECWA has ever seen. Joe Gacy is out for blood against Carr but is eyeing up his first ECWA title reign as well.

ECWA officials have decided to end the nonsense and let it play out in the ring! On Saturday June 17 at ‘Raising the Bar’ there will be a HUGE TAG TEAM MATCH! This will hopefully settle the score for all 4 men and give some clarity to the championship situation. This could go a long way into determining future championship opportunities as well! It will be ECWA Heavyweight Champion Azrieal teaming with Joe Gacy to take on Sean Carr & Chris Wylde
