AWE debuts October 15
Absolute Wrestling Entertainment
June 21, 2017 -
Get ready, Hamilton. AWE is coming!
Absolute Wrestling Entertainment is proud to announce a new face in Southern Ontario’s wrestling
scene. On October 15, AWE presents #AbsoluteAWE live from the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 58,
located at 1180 Barton St. E in Hamilton, Ontario.
The event will feature some of Canada’s top competitors, including talents from Hamilton, Toronto,
Niagara - Region, Quebec and beyond.
The main event will be a dream match featuring three names that wrestling fans are more than familiar
with. It will be hometown favourite Rip Impact taking on recent WWE Cruiserweight Classic participant
Tyson Dux and the dangerous strong-style competitor Josh Alexander in an elimination-style three way
dance. The winner will be the first AWE Champion in the company’s history.
The co-main event will be a tag-team showdown between two of the hottest team’s on the Ontario
wrestling scene. It’ll be a riot when The Riotmakers, made up of Holden Albright and Mark Wheeler,
look to cause some havoc against the always exciting Fight or Flight, made up of Gabriel Fuerza and
Vaughn Vertigo. These two teams will be looking to establish their names in the AWE tag-team division,
throwing their names in the hat for the eventual crowning of the AWE Tag Team Champions.
Everyone’s favourite dirtbag, Cody Deaner, will bring the #DeanerDynasty to Hamilton when he
challenges Hipstar in what could very well determine the next top contender for the AWE
championship.
The card will feature seven matches in total, including action in the AWE women’s division and students
from the budding Hamilton Pro Wrestling Academy.
Tickets will be on sale soon. Keep it locked to @AwrestlingE on Twitter as more details, including match
announcements, are made in the coming month
