12/29- CWE 12/27 Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal Results Ft The Godfather
Canadian Wrestling's Elite finished off 2019 exactly how it began and that was with a packed house for the CWE debut of former WWF Intercontinental Champion The Godfather and Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal where every match had a stipulation selected by the fans seconds prior to the bell ringing!
1) Cliff Corleone defeated 2019 Super Jobber "The Mastermind" Kevin Cannon by submission in a submissions match.
2) CWE Tag Team Champion "Canadian Strong Style" Rob Stardom beat Spanky in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
3) Thrash Wrestling Champion "Hotshot" Danny Duggan retained the title against CWE Icon "The Zombie Killer" MENTALLO in a Bar Room Brawl after initially declining to use the championship belt as a weapon offered to him by Shane Madison when he couldn't put MENTALLO away with The Crueler Crossface. Moments later after barely getting his foot on the rope to avoid a pin fall loss to MENTALLO after his sliding knee finishing maneuver a desperate Duggan mule kicked MENTALLO between the legs when lifted for a German Suplex and grabbed the title belt from Madison and blasted MENTALLO with it for the win. After the match a very remorseful Dugan or so it would appear after realizing he went too far, attempted to assist MENTALLO to his feet and was shoved away aggressively by MENTALLO who did not accept Duggan's apology.
4) Dr. Marty Goldstein scored a major upset in a 2 out of 3 falls match against Scott Ripley with "The Coach" Kelly Russell in his corner. As a result Goldstein has earned a match with Russell on January 24th. However, Russell attacked Goldstein after the bell and brutalized his leg and nearly broke it with a figure four before confidently boasting that he was now looking forward to the match with Goldstein more than Goldstein originally was, especially considering Goldstein is scheduled for an MRI tomorrow to asses his knee.
5) On the debut Lord Wolfstein's Lair hosted by the legendary Lord Wolfdtein, Wolfstein managed to use his sorcery to secure two mortal enemies of over a decade in Shane Madison and Danny Duggan as his special guests. Lord Wolfstein demanded answers for Duggan's behavior as of late and wanted an explanation for what appeared to cohesive intentions earlier in Duggan's match with MENTALLO.
Shane Madison claimed he was simply trying to guide Duggan as he cared about him and that is something the fans sincerely don't do nor do the wrestlers in the locker room that not only not appreciate his efforts as a flag barrier for the company but don't care about their own effort in building the brand Duggan has made made personal and professional sacrifices for.
Duggan remained silent and returned the microphone after multiple questions by Wolfstein and Madison until Madison cited that Duggan and him were a lot more alike than Duggan wanted to admit which seemed to trigger the 4x CWE Champion who quickly corrected him and said they were nothing alike and that for 10 years Madison has talked down to him,told him how he was better and more successful than him, and every opportunity he has ever had he has taken to stab Duggan in the back.
Duggan apologized to the fans citing that after his near death car accident earlier this year and losing the CWE Championship with long time friends betraying him he is not the same person he once and is unsure of who he is anymore or becoming or if wrestling is still the path for him but one thing he was certain of was that he was not going to draw this out any longer than need be as he knows Madison better than anyone and knows Madison was just waiting for a chance to try and rid him of CWE once again.
Danny Duggan grabbed Wolfstein' Warlock walking cane made of steel and appeared to be ready to assault Madison before handing Madison the steel cane and said he knew Madison was waiting for a prime opportunity to take him out so he was going to save him the hassle and turn his back and give Madison one free shot and that is he doesn't hit a home run Duggan would be getting up and ending Madison once and for all.
A shocked Madison, Wolfstein, and capacity crowd cringed as Duggan turned his back with Madison holding a loaded gun to speak in the form of steel that would knock Duggan brain dead if hit to the back of the head. Madison wouldn't pull the trigger so a very emotional and angry Duggan intimidated Wolfstein out of the ring started throwing the Lair set and cursing at Madison to "do it" and to "******* hit him".
Madison opted not to and left the ring while Duggan had his back turned to only remind Duggan he cared about him and wasn't going to do it leaving a visibly frustrated and emotional Duggan in the ring alone.
6) Tyler James of The Degenerates entered the ring and stated he was supposed to wrestle Adam Race tonight but in typical Adam Race fashion his mouth was bigger than his balls and after breaking a long tenured wrestler code and attempting to sleep with James' wife via messages over the internet and by trying to build her trust by making up stories about James' being unfaithful on the road, Race was scared for his life and instead of showing up and fighting him like a man and a professional he has made up lame excuses and has quit the wrestling business to a large ovation from the audience.
James stated the one thing Adam Race got right was, is James is a terrible human being, a degenerate if you will and was going to fight someone who he would visualize as Adam Race. Rob Stardom accepted the challenge and much to the laughter of everyone the match randomly selected was a Bra and Panties match.
The open challenge back fired as not only did he have to witness Rob Stardom in a bra and panties, had to wear them himself, but claimed he would be picturing his opponent as Adam Race who he was now visualizing in bra and panties something James said was not far from reality from the profile picture Race had on Tinder and Grinder while playing for the other team prior to trying to sleep with his wife. Unfortunately for James his luck wasn't much better as Stardom stripped him of his his bra and panties to win the match although some would argue with Stardom still wearing his, James was the real winner.
7) "The Mastermind" Kevin Cannon made his way to the ring with Roy Cheeks who was on crutches who was slated to wrestle "Red Hot" Ryan Wood. Cannon claimed that even though Cheeks was on crutches with a torn MCL that Ryan Wood was all wood and no balls and no showed the event as he knew Roy Cheeks would stretch him harder than he was a stretched as a jobber for Cyberfights.
Kevin Cannon claimed it was not all bad news though as he had a hot scoop and that the long retired Johnny Malibu, one of the most popular wrestlers in Winnipeg in the early 2000s and a man who returned in the Rumble To Remember weeks ago with arguably the most impressive iron man run in the rumble would be returning to the ring and wrestling his first singles match in 18 years on January 24th at Rookie's Sports Bar when CWE Presents A Higher Impact.
The leader of The Cannon Corporation than invited Malibu into the ring who had been watching the event at the back of the room to scout the current CWE roster. Cannon caught Malibu up to speed on what he believes to be the way of the land and that The Corporation has dismantled and rid CWE of every local old timer who has comeback looking for one last run and heroes welcome. Cannon explained that Malibu should be smarter than he looks and just stay home on January 24th and for good because if he doesn't he may find himself in some trouble at any point with The Cannon Corporation.
Johnny Malibu fired back that he would not be intimidated by Cannon or anyone and in fact Cannon should show respect the veterans that paved the way instead of the constant disrespect and assaults of them. Cannon and Cheeks tried to use the numbers game to their advantage and pull a cheap shot on Malibu who caught it in time and knocked a lunging Cheeks on his ass and off his crutches and sent Cannon packing.
9) In The More The Merrier 3 Way Christmas Dance, WWE Legend The Godfather & Cliff Corleone subbing in for k-Dos who cancelled yet again in what is a record set of advertised dates he has missed and were able to create tag team chemistry instantly and beat "The Canadian Crusher" AJ Sanchez & "The Boston Bruiser" Kevin O'Doyle, and "Misfit' Mike Mission and DRAGNEEL of The Degenerates.
The in ring action wasn't the only thing wild about this main event however! It was a moment that will never be forgotten as an unsuspecting DRAGNEEL was none the wiser just like the audience and found out as everyone else as his mother accompanied The Godfather and his other lady of the night as an official ho on The Godfather's Hooooooo Train! A very upset Dragneel eventually calmed down and came to terms with it even after AJ Sanchez was confused by Dragneel's frustration, reminding him that it really is no surprise to anyone as everyone knows his mom is a ho, which Dragneel agreed and apologized to his mother and thanking her for taking a step up by becoming a prostitute for The Godfather from dating La Sombra.
Even with all that wildness it wasn't over yet as the match selected by Spin The Wheel, Make The Deal was a "Special Referee Match". It was revealed "The Mastermind" Kevin Cannon was the special referee but before he could begin, CWE alumnus "Super Friend" JJ Sanchez, a former rival of Cannon returned for the first time in 3 years and knocked out Cannon and claimed he was in fact the contracted referee for the position and rang the bell!
