2/16 TOKYO JOSHI PRO IN SAITAMA, JAPAN REPORT

By Shannon Walsh on 2/16/2020 7:42 AM

Tokyo Joshi Pro results from Saitama, Japan ???????? at Wrestle Fighter Museum on 2/16/19.

The event aired live on DDT Universe https://www.ddtpro.com/universe/videos/7922

This show was just for DDT Universe members to attend and no card was announced ahead of time so the lineup would be a surprise.

Mirai Maiumi vs. Sena Shiori

Maiumi won fairly quickly with a chin lock submission.

Rika Tatsumi vs. Haruna Neko

Tatsumi got the pin with an inside cradle.

I don’t know if this was supposed to be a NO Disqualification Match but it ended up being that way as the Miu Watanabe, Raku, and others acting as ringside attendants repeatedly interfered to try to help Neko.

Nodoka Tenma and Yuki Aino vs. Shoko Nakajima and Hyper Misao

This was a comedy match that saw Misao getting pinned by the other three after she missed a flying body press. They all got into a shoving match after and collided to knock each other down.

Yuka Sakazaki vs. Pom Harajuku in a 2 out of 3 falls Valentine Death Match

They both came out in nice regular clothes. This was all comedy “party games” type of stuff and not a wrestling match.

Sakazaki won the first fall. They both made snacks and let fans decide whose was better.

Harajuku won the second fall in another taste contest where they brought out Miu Watanabe, Raku, and Hikari Noa.

Harajuku won the third fall and the match somehow involving another food contest gimmick with Noa.

Sakazaki attacked Harajuku with a giant balloon and baseball after. She also used the bat on the referee then stormed off to the back.

Miyu Yamashita and Suzume vs. Mizuki and Mahiro Kiryu in a 2 out of 3 falls match with two counts to win instead of three

Mizuki quickly rolled up and pinned Suzume to win the first fall.

Yamashita pinned Kiryu to win the second fall.

Kiryu pinned Yamashita after Mizuki hit and standing double stomp and she slide right under her for the cover.

This was a lighthearted comedy show overall as an interactive party with their Universe member fans.
