TOKYO JOSHI PRO, DDT CANCEL LIVE EVENTS DUE TO CORONAVIRUS

By Shannon Walsh on 2/26/2020 7:51 AM

DDT management announced today that their events, as well as Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling’s events, scheduled from 2/28/20 to 3/8/20 have been canceled due to the continuing concerns over the Coronavirus. Refunds are available.

There will still be shows of some sort airing on DDT Universe on those dates from Ochanomizu dojo instead. No fans will be allowed to attend.

Tokyo Joshi Pro’s show on 3/1/20 (which was supposed to take place at Ryogoku KFC Hall) will no longer feature the title matches of International Princess Champion Thunder Rosa vs. Shoko Nakajima and Princess Tag Team Champions Miu Watanabe and Rika Tatsumi vs. Maki Itoh and Raku. Those championship bouts will be rescheduled for another date.

Pro Wrestling NOAH announced earlier that their fan “meet and greet” event set for later this week has been canceled due to the Coronavirus. They are monitoring the situation and looking over their schedule with the possibility of other shows being canceled.
