Longtime UFC fighter Stefan Struve’s professional MMA career, which began in March of 2005, has come to an end.
The fighter took to Twitter to announce his retirement:
What’s up everyone. I got an announcement to make today. It was a little too long so I had to improvise, you can read more in the attachement. I have decided to retire from professional fighting. Thank you all for the support ?????????? pic.twitter.com/z2eZAALUoP

Struve, who retires with a professional MMA record of 29-13-0 record, has picked up notable victories over Chase Gormley, Paul Buentello, Sean McCorkle, Pat Barry, Lavar Johnson, Stipe Miocic, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Antonio Silva and Marcos Rogerio De Lima. Struve last competed at UFC 254 in October of 2020, suffering a first round knockout loss to Tai Tuivasa.
The retired fighter, who has been battling issues with his vestibular system, cites the continued battle with those issues as the reason for retiring.
