The UFC Ultimate Fighter is expected to return to our television screens later this year and two big name fighters could be coaches on the reality show, with those being UFC Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman and BMF Champion Jorge Masvidal.
Brett Okamoto of ESPN recently took to Twitter to reveal that Usman and Masvidal could be the coaches for the upcoming season of TUF:
Kamaru Usman’s manager Ali Abdelaziz just told me he’s already talking to UFC about Usman and Masvidal as TUF coaches. “It’s what Kamaru wants and Jorge deserves a full camp. But he and his team better be on their best behavior. We already beat them up inside and out of cage.”

Usman did call out Masvidal after the welterweight champion’s successful title defense at UFC 258. Usman did defeat Masvidal in their first encounter at UFC 251, but Masvidal accepted that title encounter on short notice.
There is no date yet for when the next season of TUF will debut, but the UFC started accepting fighter applications for the show this past November.
