Trevin Jones is going to need a new opponent for UFC 259 as original opponent Randy Costa has withdrawn from the card.
Costa announced the news on Twitter:
Thank you for all the continued love and support. Just a small bump in the road.

I’ll be good for May and intend/hope to be fighting then.

The fighter didn’t specify what kind of injury knocked him off of UFC 259, but Costa says that he expects to compete again by May. There is just over two weeks until UFC 259, giving the promotion a small window to find a replacement opponent to fight Jones.
UFC 259 takes place on Saturday, March 6 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jan Blachowicz and Israel Adesanya headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
