REPORT: UFC VETERAN BRYAN CARAWAY CHARGED WITH STEALING ATV FROM EX-PARTNER MIESHA TATE

It has been three years since former UFC fighter Bryan Caraway and retired former UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Miesha Tate ended their relationship.

However, there still appears to be some issues between the former couple as a report from The Tri-City Herald states that Caraway has been charged with forgery and stealing an ATV from Tate.

The forgery charge stems from the allegation that Caraway forged a title, replacing Tate’s name with his own, for a 2015 Polaris RZR ATV that Tate purchased prior to the couple breaking up. Caraway would then report that the ATV was stolen just a few days after purchasing insurance for it, while also telling authorities that everything stolen along with the ATV was valued at over $18,000.

Caraway was already under investigation for allegedly stealing the ATV, which is Tate’s property, twice before from Tate. The former UFC fighter previously told authorities and insurance investigators that Tate had given him the ATV when they broke up, which is a claim that Tate has disputed. Caraway also allegedly told the authorities that he wanted to “strangle” his ex and take the ATV back from her.

Security camera footage from February of 2019 showed Caraway allegedly stealing the ATV on two separate occasions in a two week span. After allegedly missing a court date, Caraway was a part of the Washington State’s Office of the Insurance Commissioner’s Most Wanted list, but would later be removed after contacting the authorities.

The former UFC is expected to appear in court next month to enter a plea in relation to the charges of forgery, making a false statement on a vehicle application certificate of title, false claims of proof in excess of $1,500 and first-degree attempted theft.
