A new threat is making his way to the PFL Welterweight Division as Alexey Kunchenko has signed a deal with the promotion and will compete in season three.
The fighter announced the news through Instagram:
Kunchenko (20-2-0) won two of four during his time in the UFC, with those wins coming over Thiago Alves and Yushin Okami. Kunchenko enters the PFL riding a two fight losing streak and will also be competing for the first time in over a year. Kunchenko is a former M-1 Challenge Welterweight Champion and he relinquished the title upon signing with the UFC.
