A bantamweight division attraction has been added to the April 17 UFC card according to MMA Junkie as Tony Gravely faces Nate Maness.
Gravely (20-6-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Geraldo De Freitas Jr. at UFC Fight Night 182. Gravely also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 8, defeating Ray Rodriguez by third round TKO. Gravely is also a former CES MMA and King Of The Cage Bantamweight Champion.
Maness (13-1-0) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having picked up wins over Johnny Munoz Jr. and Luke Sanders. Maness has suffered just a single defeat in his professional MMA career and that came to Taylor Lapilus at TKO MMA 48. Maness has seen six of his pro MMA bouts go the distance and the fighter won each of those encounters.
UFC Fight Night: Costa vs. Whittaker takes place on Saturday, April 17 from a location to be announced with Paulo Costa and Robert Whittaker headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
