Last night’s UFC Fight Night 185 preliminary card was supposed to feature a lightweight division bout between Drakkar Klose and Luis Pena.
However, one of Klose’s cornermen tested positive for COVID-19 and the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) decided to cancel the bout due to health concerns.
Pena commented on the matter before the event on Twitter:
I hate this man but it’s with a heavy heart that must inform you guys that the fight has been called off one of Drakkar’s corner tested positive for covid and out of the health and safety for us both the @ufc decided to pull the fight praying that he and his team remain healthy

The event’s commentary team of Brandon Fitzgerald and Michael Bisping revealed the news of the card change during the UFC Fight Night 185 broadcast. There is no word at this time if the bout will get rescheduled or if the fighters will go their separate ways.
