A flyweight division affair has been added to UFC 262 according to MMA DNA as #4 Alex Perez faces #7 Matt Schnell.

Perez (24-6-0) is competing for the first time since losing to UFC Flyweight Champion Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 255. Perez won three fights before that loss, with those wins coming over Mark De La Rosa, Jordan Espinosa and Jussier Formiga. Perez has seen his last three fights end within the first round and it has been over two years since the fighter fought past round one.

Schnell (15-5-0) has won five of his last six in the UFC, with notable wins coming over Louis Smolka, Jordan Espinosa and Tyson Nam. Schnell is undefeated when competing at UFC pay-per-view events, having defeated Marco Beltran at UFC 216.
