A lightweight division attraction has been added to the April 17 UFC card according to MMA Junkie as Natan Levy faces Austin Hubbard.
Levy (6-0-0) is making his UFC debut in this bout and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted almost three years. Levy competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 4, Week 9, defeating Shaheen Santana by third round submission. Levy has picked of three of six pro MMA wins by submission, with the rest coming by way of decision.
Hubbard (12-5-0) has won two of five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Kyle Prepolec and Max Rohskopf. Hubbard is a former LFA Lightweight Champion, defeating Killys Mota at LFA 56 to claim the gold. Hubbard hasn’t earned a victory in over a year, with his last win coming at UFC On ESPN 11 in January of 2020.
UFC Fight Night: Costa vs. Whittaker takes place on Saturday, April 17 from a location to be announced with Paulo Costa and Robert Whittaker headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
