A middleweight division attraction has been added to the May 1 UFC card according to Paradigm Sports as #15 Sean Strickland faces Krzysztof Jotko.
Strickland (22-3-0) comes into the contest on a three fight winning streak, picking up wins over Nordine Taleb, Jack Marshman and Brendan Allen. Strickland has suffered three losses as a pro MMA fighter and all of them came in UFC competition. Strickland hasn’t been defeated in over two years, with his last loss coming to Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos at UFC 224.
Jotko (22-4-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, earning wins over Alen Amedovski, Marc-Andre Barriault and Eryk Anders. Jotko has seen his last three fights go the distance and it has been over four years since the fighter got a finish. Jotko has competed 26 times as a professional MMA fighter and 16 of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night: Reyes vs. Prochazka takes place on Saturday, May 1 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Dominick Reyes and Jiri Prochazka headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
