A flyweight division attraction has been added to the May 22 UFC card according to Raw-Sports Management as Denys Bondar faces Victor Rodriguez.
Bondars (14-2-0) is making his UFC debut in this bout and does so while riding a eight fight winning streak. Bondars hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost four years, with that last loss coming to Aleksandr Lunga in March of 2017. Bondars has picked up 10 of 14 pro MMA wins by submission, with the rest coming by KO/TKO.
Rodriguez (5-3-0) is winless under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Adrian Yanez at UFC Fight Night 181. Rodriguez has competed eight times as a pro MMA fighter and none of those bouts went past the second round. Rodriguez has picked up five wins as a pro fighter and all of them came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night takes place on Saturday, May 22 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
