By David Tees on 2/25/2021 1:22 PM

A welterweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 255 according to MMA Junkie as Neiman Gracie faces Jason Jackson.

Gracie (10-1-0) has won eight of nine under the Bellator banner, with notable wins coming over Rudy Bears, Zak Bucia, Ed Ruth and Jon Fitch. Gracie competed in the Bellator Welterweight World Grand Prix, making it to the semi-finals before losing to Rory MacDonald. Gracie has earned 10 wins as a pro MMA fighter and nine of them came by way of decision.

Jackson (13-4-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, with those wins coming over Kiichi Kunimoto, Jordan Mein and Ben Henderson. Jackson hasn’t been defeated in over a year, with that last loss coming to Ed Ruth in October of 2019. Jackson has seen his last five fights go the distance and it has been almost two years since the fighter got a finish.

Bellator 255 takes place on Friday, April 2 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Patricio Pitbull and Emmanuel Sanchez headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Showtime.
