By David Tees on 2/26/2021 8:26 AM

A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 262 according to MMA Junkie as #12 Andrea Lee faces #14 Antonina Shevchenko.

Lee (11-5-0) enters the contest riding a three fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Joanne Calderwood, Lauren Murphy and Roxanne Modafferi. Lee hasn’t picked up a victory in almost two years, with that last win coming over Montana De La Rosa at UFC Fight Night 154 in June of 2019. Lee is winless when competing on UFC pay-per-view events, going 0-2-0 in past appearances.

Shevchenko (9-2-0) has rotated wins and losses during her UFC tenure, with the latest being a second round TKO win over Ariane Lipski at UFC 255. Shevchenko competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Season 2, Episode 3, defeating Jaimelene Nievera by second round TKO. Shevchenko has competed 11 times as a pro MMA fighter and seven of those bouts went the distance.

UFC 262 takes place on Saturday, May 15 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
