A heavyweight division attraction has been added to the May 22 UFC card according to Combate as Alan Baudot faces Rodrigo Nascimento.
Baudot (8-2-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Tom Aspinall at UFC Fight Night 179. Baudot has competed 10 times as a pro MMA fighter and none of those encounters went the distance. Baudot has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them came by KO/TKO.
Nascimento (8-1-0) has won just one of two in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Don’Tale Mayes at UFC On ESPN 8. Nascimento competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 6, defeating Michal Martinek by first round submission. Nascimento has competed nine times as a pro MMA fighter and none of those bouts went past the second round.
UFC Fight Night takes place on Saturday, May 22 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
