A heavyweight division attraction has been added to One On TNT I according to Combate as Marcus Almeida faces Ji Won Kang.
Almeida (0-0-0) is making both his One Championship and professional MMA debut in this encounter. Almeida is light on MMA experience, but he is a 13 time jiu-jitsu world champion. Almeida has no amateur MMA experience to speak of either, so his pro MMA debut will mark his overall MMA debut.
Kang (4-0-0) has picked up one win under the One banner, having defeated Mehdi Bargi by first round TKO at One Championship: Unbreakable III. Kang has competed four times as a pro MMA fighter and none of those bouts went past the opening round. Kang went winless as an amateur MMA fighter, dropping a bout to Kyung Jae Baek at Road FC: Into League 12 in July of 2013.
One On TNT I takes place on Wednesday, April 7 from the Singapore Arena in Kallang, Singapore with Adriano Moraes and Demetrious Johnson headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which airs via tape delay on TNT.
