A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 262 according to Combate as #12 Shane Burgos faces #14 Edson Barboza.
Burgos (13-2-0) has won three of his last five heading into this encounter, with those wins coming against Kurt Holobaugh, Cub Swanson and Makwan Amirkhani. Burgos has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both came in UFC competition. Burgos has competed 15 times as a pro MMA fighter and just four of those bouts went the distance.
Barboza (21-9-0) has competed at both lightweight and featherweight in the UFC, earning a record of 15-9-0 in the promotion. Barboza has also suffered all of his professional MMA defeats while competing under the UFC banner. Barboza has earned 12 of 21 pro MMA wins by KO/TKO, with another eight coming by decision.
