By David Tees on 3/3/2021 5:46 AM

A welterweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 257 according to MMA Junkie as Paul Daley faces Sabah Homasi.

Daley (41-17-2) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Erick Silva and Saad Awad. Daley hasn’t competed in well over a year, with his last fight happening at Bellator 232 in October of 2019. Daley has picked up 41 wins as a pro MMA fighter, but he has yet to earn a victory by way of submission.

Homasi (15-8-0) is undefeated thus far under the Bellator banner, picking up wins over Curtis Millender, Micah Terrill and Bobby Voelker. Homasi went 0-3-0 during his time in the UFC, dropping fights to Tim Means and Abdul Razak Alhassan (twice). Homasi has competed 23 times as a pro MMA fighter and just four of those bouts went the distance.

Bellator 257 takes place on Friday, April 16 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Vadim Nemkov and Phil Davis headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Showtime.
