A women’s strawweight division attraction has been announced for UFC 260 by the promotion as Luana Pinheiro faces Randa Markos.
Pinheiro (8-1-0) is making her UFC debut in this encounter and does so while riding a six fight winning streak. Pinheiro competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 4, Episode 9, defeating Stephanie Frausto by first round knockout. Pinheiro has suffered a single defeat as a pro MMA fighter and that came to Cris Macfer Ferreira Macedo at All Fights 1 in March of 2017.
Markos (10-10-1) enters the contest on a three fight losing streak and she hasn’t earned a victory in over a year. Markos has won just one of three when competing at UFC pay-per-view events, with that lone win coming over Aisling Daly at UFC 186. Markos has suffered 10 losses as a pro MMA fighter and eight of them came by way of decision.
UFC 260 takes place on Saturday, March 27 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
