REPORT: JOHNNY MUNOZ JR. FACES MARK STRIEGL AT UFC 261

A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC 261 according to MMA Fighting as Johnny Munoz Jr. faces Mark Striegl.

Munoz Jr. (10-1-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Joseph Nathan Maness at UFC Fight Night 173. Munoz Jr. has picked up 10 wins as a pro fighter and all of them came in the King Of The Cage promotion. Munoz Jr. is also a former KOTC Bantamweight Champion, but he relinquished the belt upon signing with the UFC.

Striegl (18-3-0-1NC) is also winless thus far in his UFC journey, dropping a bout to Said Nurmagomedov at UFC Fight Night 180. Striegl hasn’t earned a victory in over two years, with that last win coming against Do Gyum Lee at URCC Colossal in September of 2018. Striegl has picked up 14 of 18 pro MMA wins by submission, with the rest coming by way of decision.
