CONTENDER SERIES VET ALTON CUNNINGHAM RETIRES

Alton Cunningham, who has competed twice on Dana White’s Contender Series, has announced his retirement from pro MMA competition.

Cunningham retires with a 7-2-0 record as a pro MMA fighter, with notable victories coming over Wayman Carter, BJ Lacy and Erick Murray. Cunningham’s two appearances on the Contender Series saw the fighter lose to Bevon Lewis and Tony Johnson. Cunningham’s last pro fight came at Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 2, losing to the aforementioned Johnson.
