A middleweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 256 according to Cageside Press as Dalton Rosta faces Tony Johnson.
Rosta (4-0-0) has spent his entire pro MMA career in Bellator, picking up wins over Cody Vidal, Claude Wilcox, Mark Gardner and Ty Gwerder. Rosta also went undefeated as an amateur MMA fighter, which includes a win over Contender Series alumni Cody Brundage. Rosta has competed four times as a pro MMA fighter and just one of those bouts went the distance.
Johnson (8-3-0) is also undefeated in Bellator competition, picking up wins over Joe Schilling and Mike Ortega. Johnson competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 2, defeating Alton Cunningham by unanimous decision. Johnson is competing for the first time in over a year, as his last fight happened at Bellator 229 in October of 2019.
Bellator 256 takes place on Friday, April 9 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Ryan Bader and Lyoto Machida headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which airs on Showtime.
