A heavyweight division attraction has been added to the June 5 UFC card according to MMA Fighting as #11 Walt Harris faces #15 Marcin Tybura.
Harris (13-9-0-1NC) enters the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Alistair Overeem and Alexander Volkov. Harris hasn’t won a bout in almost two years, with that last win coming over Aleksei Oleinik at UFC On ESPN 4 in July of 2019. Harris has earned 13 wins as a pro MMA fighter and all of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Tybura (21-6-0) comes into the bout while in the midst of a four fight winning streak, last defeating Greg Hardy at UFC Fight Night 183. Tybura has competed 27 times as a pro MMA fighter and just nine of those encounters went the distance. Tybura hasn’t been defeated in over a year, with that last loss coming to Augusto Sakai at UFC Fight Night 158.
UFC Fight Night takes place on Saturday, June 5 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
