UFC 259 took place last night, which saw three titles defended at the event and only one changed hands as Aljamain Sterling defeated Petr Yan to become the new UFC Bantamweight Champion.
The promotion handed out $200,000 in bonus money at UFC 259 and all of that money went to fighters who competed on the preliminary card. Kennedy Nzechukwu and Carlos Ulberg scored $50,000 each for “Fight Of The Night,” while Uros Medic and Kai Kara-France earned $50,000 each for “Performance Of The Night.”
Up next for the UFC is UFC Fight Night 187, which is headlined by a welterweight division attraction pitting Leon Edwards against Belal Muhammad.
