A middleweight division clash has been added to UFC 262 according to MMA Junkie as Jamie Pickett faces Jordan Wright.
Pickett (11-5-0) is winless thus far under the UFC banner, dropping a bout to Tafon Nchukwi at UFC Fight Night 183. Pickett competed three times in the Contender Series, defeating Jhonoven Pati, while dropping bouts to Charles Byrd and Puna Soriano. Pickett has earned eight of 11 pro MMA wins by KO/TKO, with another two coming by decision.
Wright (11-1-0-1NC) is looking to rebound from his first pro MMA defeat, which came to Joaquin Buckley at UFC 255. Wright competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 2, Episode 2, fighting Anthony Hernandez to a no contest. Wright has competed a total of 13 times as a pro MMA fighter and none of those bouts went the distance.
