REPORT: UFC 259 PRELIMINARY CARD AVERAGES OVER 1 MILLION VIEWERS

UFC 259 took place this past weekend, which featured a trio of title bouts on the pay-per-view broadcast. 

There was a preliminary card for the event that aired on both ESPN and ESPN 2, which brought in an average of 1.208 million viewers according to MMA Fighting. The bouts that made up the preliminary card featured Dominick Cruz defeated Casey Kenney, Kyler Phillips defeat Song Yadong, Askar Askarov defeating Joseph Benavidez, Amanda Lemos defeating Livinha Souza, Sean Brady defeating Jake Matthews, Tim Elliott defeating Jordan Espinosa, Kai Kara France defeating Rogerio Bontorin, Kennedy Nzechukwu defeating Carlos Ulberg, Uros Medic defeating Aalon Cruz and Trevin Jones defeating Mario Bautista.

The UFC 259 ended up being the #2 ranked in overall cable TV ratings for Saturday Night, while also earning a .46 rating in the 18-49 year old demographic.

Up next for the UFC is UFC Fight Night 187, which will stream exclusively on ESPN+ this Saturday Night.
