REPORT: JULIAN MARQUEZ REPLACES ZAK CUMMINGS ON APRIL 10 UFC CARD

Zak Cummings has withdrawn from the April 10 UFC card according to MMA Junkie, replacing him against Sam Alvey is Julian Marquez.

Alvey (33-14-1-1NC) enters the contest riding a four fight losing streak and he hasn’t won a fight in almost three years. Alvey’s last win came over Gian Villante via split decision at UFC Fight Night 131 in August of 2018. Alvey has competed 49 times as a professional MMA fighter and 22 of those encounters went the distance.

Marquez (8-2-0) has won two of three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Darren Stewart and Maki Pitolo. Marquez competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Season 1, Episode 4, defeating Phil Hawes by second round knockout. Marquez competed once in Bellator, which was a unanimous decision loss to Chris Harris at Bellator 150.
