A featherweight division attraction has been added to the June 19 UFC card according to John Hyon Ko as Seung Woo Choi faces Julian Erosa.
Choi (9-3-0) enters the bout riding a two fight winning streak, picking up wins over the duo of Suman Mokhtarian and Youssef Zalal. Choi hasn’t been defeated in over a year, with that last loss coming to Gavin Tucker at UFC 240 in July of 2019. Choi has competed four times under the UFC banner and all but one of those encounters went the distance.
Erosa (25-8-0) is undefeated thus far during his third run with the UFC, with those wins coming over Sean Woodson and Nate Landwehr. Erosa has had three different runs in the UFC, earning a 3-4-0 overall record in the promotion. Erosa has suffered a total of eight losses as a pro MMA fighter, but he has yet to be beaten by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night takes place on Saturday, June 19 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
