Megan Anderson was on the wrong side of a championship bout against two division UFC champion Amanda Nunes at UFC 259, which was also the final fight of the contender’s UFC contract.
Anderson, who is now a free agent, has taken to Twitter to issue a statement on both her UFC exit and future as an MMA fighter:

The free agent went 3-3-0 under the UFC banner, defeating Cat Zingano, Zarah Fairn Dos Santos and Norma Dumont, while suffering defeats to the aforementioned Nunes, Holly Holm and Felicia Spencer.
