A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to the June 26 UFC card according to Combate as Danilo Marques faces Ed Herman.
Marques (11-2-0) is undefeated under the UFC banner, picking up wins over Khadis Ibragimov and Mike Rodriguez. Marques hasn’t been defeated in almost four years, with that last loss coming to Myron Dennis at LFA 9 in April of 2017. Marques has earned five of 11 pro MMA wins by way of submission, while he has yet to be beaten in that matter.
Herman (26-14-0-1NC) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, with those wins coming over Patrick Cummins, Khadis Ibragimov and Mike Rodriguez. Herman made it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 3, but he lost to Kendall Grove in that final fight. Herman has competed 41 times as a pro MMA fighter and just 10 of those encounters went the distance.
UFC Fight Night takes place on Saturday, June 26 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
