One Championship is holding their first ever all women’s card on May 28, which the promotion has announced earlier this week and the card is being called One Championship: Empower.
The event is going to be headlined by a women’s strawweight title fight as Xiong Jing Nan defends against Michelle Nicolini.
All four opening round bouts in the women’s atomweight world grand prix are also scheduled for the event, as Denice Zamboanga faces Seo Hee Ham, Alyona Rassohyna faces Stamp Fairtex, Itsuki Hirata faces Alyse Anderson and Meng Bo faces Ritu Phogat. The winner of the grand prix will get a shot at One Women’s Atomweight Champion Angela Lee.
One Championship: Empower takes place on Friday, May 28 from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore with Xiong Jing Nan and Michelle Nicolini headlining.
