A lightweight division attraction is going to be added to a yet to be revealed UFC card according to Ariel Helwani of ESPN as #2 Justin Gaethje faces #4 Michael Chandler.

Gaethje (22-3-0) is competing for the first time since losing to UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 254. Gaethje had won four straight before the loss to Nurmagomedov, with those wins coming over James Vick, Edson Barboza, Tony Ferguson and Donald Cerrone. Gaethje is a former WSOF Lightweight Champion, but he relinquished the belt upon signing with the UFC.

Chandler (22-5-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, defeating Dan Hooker by first round TKO at UFC 257. Chandler is a multiple time Bellator Lightweight Champion and he earned a total of 18 wins during his time in the promotion. Chandler has suffered five losses as a pro MMA fighter, but he has yet to be beaten by way of submission.
