World’s Most Spectacular Mexican Luchador HIJO DEL VIKINGO To Make His Chicago Debut and Defend His Title in Pilsen
Chicago, Illinois (February 4, 2022) – Warrior Wrestling announced today the card for Warrior Wrestling 28 on Saturday, February 18th at Thalia Hall in the Pilsen neighborhood in Chicago.
AAA Mega Champion Hijo de Vikingo, the champion of the largest lucha libre promotion in Mexico, will defend his Warrior Wrestling Lucha Championship when he takes on Aramis and Black Taurus in a triple threat match in the main event of Warrior Wrestling 28. This is the Chicago debut of Vikingo, largely considered the most spectacular luchador in Mexico and one of the most “must-see” wrestlers in the world.
Plus – AEW star Brian Cage will challenge KC Navarro for the Warrior Wrestling Championship. Cage was the first-ever Warrior Wrestling champion, reigning from 2018-2020 before forfeiting the title due to injury. A long-time mentor of Navarro, Cage helped KC win the championship last summer in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Since then, Navarro has pushed away from Cage and aligned himself with much-maligned manager FTC – Frank the Clown.
Warrior Wrestling mainstay Sam Adonis will challenge another FTC charge, local sensation Storm Grayson.
Spanish sensation Carlos Romo returns to the United States to face Wisconsin native Jordan Kross, who hs been on a lucky winning streak in Warrior Wrestling.
Beloved Warrior Wrestling character Beast Man returns to Chicago for the first time since last June to try to dominate local antagonist Trevor Outlaw, known as “Yours Rudely.”
Former ROH star Max the Impaler battles Warrior Wrestling’s fastest-rising female competitor Queen Aminata in a match that promises to be hard-hitting and intense.
