By David Tees on 2/8/2023 10:54 AM

Michal Figlak has been pulled from UFC 286 according to Carlos Contreras Legaspi, replacing him against Chris Duncan is Omar Morales.

Duncan (9-1-0) is making his UFC debut in this encounter and does so on the strength of a two bout winning streak. Duncan competed twice on Dana White’s Contender Series, defeating Charlie Campbell and suffering a defeat to Viacheslav Borshchev. Duncan also went undefeated during a brief stint in Bellator, defeating the trio of Sam Slater, Mateusz Piskorz and Iamik Furtado.

Morales (11-3-0) has won just one of his last four in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Shane Young at UFC 260. Morales hasn’t won a fight in almost two years, as the aforementioned win at UFC 260 took place in March of 2021. Morales has earned 11 wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of those came by way of submission.

UFC 286 takes place on Saturday, March 18 from the 02 Arena in London, England with Leon Edwards and Kamaru Usman headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+ pay-per-view.
