A lightweight division attraction has been added to the April 22 UFC Fight Night card according to Iridium Sports as Rick Glenn faces Christos Giagos.
Glenn (22-6-2) has won two of his last five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Dennis Bermudez and Joaquim Silva. Glenn is competing for the first time in over a year, with his last bout happening in October of 2021. Glenn has picked up 22 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 13 of them have come by KO/TKO.
Giagos (19-10-0) enters the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Arman Tsarukyan and Thiago Moises. Giagos hasn’t picked up a victory in almost two years, with his last win coming at UFC 262 in May of 2021. Giagos has competed 29 times as a professional MMA fighter and just 11 of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night is scheduled for Saturday, April 22 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
