[London. 14 February 2023] HEXAGONE MMA has announced two championship bouts for its seventh event, taking place at the Arena Futuroscope in Poitiers (France) on 11 March 2023, in a first for the region.
Walter ‘The Sniper’ Gahadza (UK) is to face Aymard ‘Barakuda’ Guih (France) for the HEXAGONE MMA Welterweight title.
With 19 wins and 7 losses across a 12-year MMA career, Gahadza has a history of delivering first-round finishes via both submission and strikes.
Aymard Guih returns for his third bout for HEXAGONE MMA with a record of 16 wins and 12 losses, and 10 years on the international circuit. He has clocked up a good run of victories by submission, as well as showing the grit to dominate over the distance.
In the second championship match of the night, France’s Samantha Jean-François will defend her strawweight title against Brazil’s Andressa Araujo. Jean-François won the belt at HEXAGONE MMA 4 via first-round submission.
