The Bellator roster has allegedly been trimmed by one fighter as MMA Junkie is reporting that the promotion has cut middleweight Pat Downey.
Downey went 1-1-0 in Bellator (which is also his overall professional MMA record), defeating Keyes Nelson by submission at Bellator 284, while being defeated by Christian Echols by first round knockout at Bellator 289.
There has been no comment yet from Downey or his representatives about the apparent release from Bellator or what will be next for the fighter.
