A women’s strawweight division attraction has been added to the May 13 UFC Fight Night card according to MMA Junkie as #7 Mackenzie Dern faces #12 Angela Hill.
Dern (12-3-0) has won just one of her last three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Tecia Torres at UFC 273. Dern has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of those came in UFC competition. Dern has earned 12 wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of those came by way of submission.
Hill (15-12-0) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, picking up wins over Lupita Godinez and Emily Ducote. Hill did compete on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 20, losing in the opening round of the reality show to Carla Esparza. Hill has competed 27 times as a professional MMA fighter and 20 of those bouts went the distance.
UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Walker takes place on Saturday, May 13 from a location to be announced with Anthony Smith and Johnny Walker headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
