A bantamweight division attraction has been added to the May 13 UFC Fight Night card according to AG Fight as Cody Stamann faces Douglas Silva De Andrade.
Stamann (21-5-1) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Eddie Wineland and Luan Lacerda. Stamann hasn’t been defeated in over a year, with that last loss coming to Said Nurmagomedov at UFC 270 in January of 2022. Stamann has earned 21 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 12 of those wins have come by way of decision.
De Andrade (28-5-0-1NC) has won two of his last four under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over Gaetano Pirrello and Sergey Morozov. De Andrade is competing for the first time in nearly a year, as his last bout happened at UFC On ESPN 39 in July of 2022. De Andrade has earned 28 wins as a professional MMA fighter and 20 of those have come by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Walker is scheduled for Saturday, May 13 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Anthony Smith and Johnny Walker headlining. PWInsiderXtra is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be revealed.
